Toolbar:
From left to right:
Load stream: Open a file for editing. Same as clicking Load in the StreamList.
Show/hide: StreamList, EncodeList, MultiTag, CutList, CD Grabbing, Recording, Log, Settings.
The status panel displays information about the current process and it's progress. The upper gauge shows batch progress, the lower gauge displays the current task's progress.

File
Open: Same as Load stream: Open a file for editing. Same as clicking Load or double-clicking in the StreamList.
Open URL...: Add a streaming (MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA) audio from internet to the StreamList.
Location: The URL. Starts with http:// or ftp://.
Restrict: Restrict the download rate of the file to the rate required to sustain playback. If this flag is not used, then the file will be downloaded as quickly as your internet connection allows.
Save to file: Save the file while downloading. Subsong system and .CUE sheet will be automaticaly generated from the received META Tags.
Close All: Close all loaded streams.
Save As...: Save MPEG or WAV PCM file (MPEG files will be streamed frame by frame)
Save Subsong Layout: Save changes to the MP3 Stream Editor Subsong System into the stream's ID3v2 Tag.
Generate .CUE file: Build .CUE file from MP3 Stream Editor Subsong System. File name will be the same as the stream's but with .CUE extension.

Edit
Undo: Undo last operation.
Cut: Cut out selection onto the Clipboard.
Copy: Copy selection onto the Clipboard.
Paste: Paste Clipboard contents from selection start (only same type of streams can be mixed, you will be warned if there is a mismatch).
Preview Cut/Paste: Preview the result with selection start's current position. Change the length of the preview in Settings.
Paste As New: Paste Clipboard contents as a new file.
Append Stream...: Select a stream and append it at the end of the opened stream.
View All: Zoom out sample display.
Select All: Reset selection from start to end.
Shift Subsong Seekpoints...: Shift MP3 Stream Editor Subsong System/.CUE subsong seekpoints. Note that it's not sliding the seekpoint, it's more like stretching! The more the seekpoint is in the stream, the more it will change it's position.

Stream
Refresh Dispaly: ReInitalize D3D (reset resolution to 1:1). Settings:Display/Auto ReInit does this automaticaly.
ReSample/ReSample with DSPs: Decode the Stream and rebuild Sample cache (SESC) (refresh sample display to match stream's contents).
Save As WAV: Convert the stream and save as WAV file...
Save Selection As WAV...: Convert the selection and save as WAV file...
Save Selection As MPEG (Cut)...: Copy selection as MPEG frames to a new file.
Add to EncodeList...: Add stream to Encode list.
Add Selection to EncodeList...: Add selection to Encode list.
Add Selection to CutList: Add selection to CutList.
Change MPEG Frame Header Bits...: Change Copyright/Original/Emphasis Bits in MPEG Streams. All MPEG frames will be processed.

StreamList
Load Playlist...: Load PlayList (Winamp Playlist) PLS, M3U, B4S formats.
Save Playlist...: Save PlayList (Winamp Playlist) PLS, M3U, B4S formats. Subsong entries probably won't be yet recognised by other applications.
Find Stream...: Search the StreamList for a specified string. You can also use the EditBox above the StreamList.
Populate List...: Add streams to the StreamList by combination of Artist, style, and playcount (eg.: Top100 Pop etc.).
Selection Filter...: Select streams matching...
Invert selection: Items selected will be deselected and deselected items will become selected.
Deselect All: No items will be selected.
Clear List: Clears the StreamList completly (releases all resources associated with streams). Same as clicking on X in the List's upper left corner (below the magnify icon).

Tools
Set SEFC in...: Validate and Set ID3v2 SEFC. Count a MPEG file's frames and store it in it's ID3v2 tag, the SEFC frame. You will be asked to select a file.
Set TLEN in...: Validate and Set ID3v2 TLEN (playtime). You will be asked to select a file.
Clean Up MP3SE Frames...: Remove MP3 Stream Editor specific ID3v2 frames SEFC, SESC, Subsong System (SESA, SEST, SESP).
Subsong Editor...: A little editor for Subsong data. You can edit the seekpoints in Stream window with mouse.
Read LAME Header Frames: Check MPEG frame count value if there is a LAME header before the MPEG data. -1: no LAME header found.
